Another historical picture (circa 1910) of the Sherburn Quarry. Smoke is coming from the channel machine at the quarry bottom. At the top of the quarry a flatbed railcar is waiting for sandstone blocks to be loaded. A handful of quarry workers can be seen in this picture.
